PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD
A person credited with this unit standard will be able to:

  • Conduct the preparations for the spring treatment of bowling greens.
  • Remove the thatch from the bowling green.
  • Aerate bowling greens.
  • Top dress and level the screed on bowling greens.
  • Provide primary turf care during the spring treatment period.
  • Prepare the green for the opening of a new season.
