PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD
This unit standard will equip learners with the skills, knowledge and values to participate effectively in workplace activities within the CTFL manufacturing industries. This unit standard will provide the learner with the necessary knowledge to understand how to contribute proactively towards productivity improvement practices.

The qualifying learner will be capable of:

  • Describing productivity principles as applied to manufacturing processes.
  • Describing productivity practice in the workplace.
  • Understanding the importance of productivity improvement practices in the workplace.
