PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD
The qualifying learner achieving this unit standard will be able to overhaul engine system components on agricultural equipment. This competence will enable the learner to:

  • Prepare to overhaul a minor engine system component.
  • Disassemble the minor engine system component.
  • Identify malfunctioning or worn parts and secure the correct replacement parts.
  • Reassemble the minor engine system component.
  • Keep the workplace safe and productive.
