Animal production

Animal Production involves the management and care of livestock or poultry for the purpose of producing meat, milk, eggs, or other animal products. This course will cover topics such as animal nutrition, breeding and genetics, health and disease management, housing and facilities, and marketing and business management. Students will learn how to properly care for and manage animals, as well as how to optimize production efficiency and quality. Hands-on experience may be provided through field trips to local farms or ranches, and practical workshops on topics such as animal handling and husbandry. By the end of the course, students will have a comprehensive understanding of animal production practices and be prepared to work in the agriculture industry or pursue further studies in animal science.
